Lancelot Consulting provides freelance consulting services that teach individuals how to learn new skills through instruction and coaching.

My name is Connie, I am the founder of Lancelot and a former IBM learning and development specialist. My goal is to offer 25 years of experience in the L&D space to help individuals achieve executive presence, maintain a growth mindset, and reach their highest potential as individuals.

My experience spans decades of experiential and simulation learning to help executives, sales & technical professionals, and new managers adopt skills needed to transform their line of business. I am a certified International Coaching Federation (ICF) Coach and integrate coaching solutions to partner with individuals on personal accountability, organic growth, and working through barriers.

I adopt Neuroscience principles as a method to better facilitate individual growth and apply 4 dimensions of behaviors which impact the culture, the leader, and the community to which the individual belongs.

Altruistic behaviors

Leaders build people capability and empower those they lead. Altruistic leader behaviors are demonstrated by continuously extending help, considering the business, operating means of the organization, and efficacy of the culture. Opportunities deepen these behaviors include advocating equity, fairness, engagement, and a high-performing culture.

Empathetic behaviors

Leaders who possess effective self-regulation and self-awareness have important assets that allow them to continue to evolve as a successful leader. These values impact a positive and productive culture. Individual and team coaching helps to elevate these values by assisting clients to create continuous check-in opportunities - for themselves, for their teams, and for their communities.

Generative behaviors

Leaders face pressure to adapt to change and can face opposing goals from clients, teams, and shareholders. Leaders are also faced with commercial demands in terms of industry standards, competition, and driving profit. Coaching can help identify behavioral drivers which contribute to performance and help evolve these behaviors with guidance.

Decisive behaviors

Leaders need clarity and confidence in fact-based decision making. Leaders also need to understand sources of data, impact and long-term connections to decisions they make. Coaching can help develop skills to evoke a deliberate decision making capability using science, relying on methods and clarity, and applying structure as a means to inform.

  • I specialize in leadership coaching to help business leaders set strategy goals to develop themselves, or the teams they lead.

    I also specialize in team-based coaching by inspiring and guiding a group towards a shared goal, fostering trust and growth through effective communication and adaptability.

    Program: Individual 18-24 weeks of bi-weekly or monthly coaching sessions or Team-based 24 weeks of monthly coaching sessions.

  • I offer learning development services using the ADDIE approach. I specialize in the analysis and design part of an initiative, and have years of experience in the development and implementation portion of projects. I am an effective writer, content developer. In terms of measurements, I have deep experience in reporting valuable metrics on the ROI of training. Lancelot can help you execute on all your organizational learning development needs.

  • I specialize in assessments in terms of test instruments. Lancelot Consulting can offer services that help you write test questions that are mapped to curriculum. I specialize in using data to understand skill gaps, and offer several assessment options to work with you to set clear objectives, choose the suitable assessment method right for you and your teams, and outline responsibilities and resources for effective data collection and analysis. The goal is to obtain meaningful insights for informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

  • I have solid experience in working with large organizations to create succession planning strategies. I work with the business to develop the strategic process to identify and develop future leaders within an organization, ensuring a smooth transition of key roles and maintaining long-term stability and performance.

    Program: This is a 6-8 week program to identify critical roles, map potential successors, define business challenges, and identify gaps. There can be an additional program add-on of 4-8 weeks to then build the Learning and Coaching plan to align pipeline growth with organizational objectives.

Neuroscience Principles

The foundational element to help clients better understand unique brain wiring and receptors for goal-setting based on challenges. These principles are a holistic and creative approach to building skills in stress management, resiliency, and self-awareness by comprehending brain's response to perceived threats and anxiety.

Facilitating Growth

During all coaching sessions, I reinforce client autonomy and self-regulation through key discussion points. Coaching is a growth journey which serves as an ongoing method to celebrate individual contribution, demonstrate mutual accountability, and target clear goals tied to business, team, organizational, and individual priorities. I advocate for the use of assessments to identify and facilitate the closure of leadership behavior gaps.  

Action-oriented Outcomes

 The laser-focused coaching methodology I use is built on the ICF (International Coaching Federation) set of competencies. Using a coach and client questioning technique, I co-create a partnership early in the discussion to establish an agreed outcome. This same approach is used whether individual- or team-based.
